Bastiaan Koelewijn has a strong academic foundation in law, with legal education from Utrecht University, University of Cambridge, Grotius Academy and National University of Singapore. He is a senior legal executive with extensive experience across financial services, fund structures, regulatory compliance and corporate governance in Europe and Asia. Since joining Bolder in 2013, Bastiaan has held progressively senior legal and governance roles in the Netherlands and Singapore, advising on fund formation and restructuring as well as regulatory developments. Next to that, he has managed legal and governance teams, developed the group’s legal and governance business and supported the growth of its regional operations.

Bastiaan is based in Singapore and is currently the Head of Legal for Bolder, where he oversees group-wide legal, governance and regulatory matters, advises the board, senior management and other stakeholders, coordinates legal initiatives and manages corporate structuring, across a global organisation operating in multiple jurisdictions.
