ECE study lists Bolder a high-growth firm in the Netherlands
Amsterdam, the Netherlands (25 September) — Bolder Group is proud to announce that the firm has been recognised as one of the fastest-growing firms in the Netherlands this year, according to the Top 250 Insights Report by the Erasmus Centre of Entrepreneurship.
The ECE’s Top 250 Insights Report is an annual research study that focuses on high-growth firms (HGFs) in the Netherlands. These firms are defined as those that have achieved an average yearly growth of at least 20% in the number of full-time employees (FTEs) over a three-year period, starting with a minimum of ten FTEs at the beginning of the study. This definition follows the guidelines set by the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD). According to the Centre, HGFs are considered a vital engine of job creation in the Dutch economy.
The role of AI in the growth of firms
The study also highlighted the use of AI in the top 250 companies, using public data such as website disclosures and company reports. According to the ECE’s analysis, companies that have integrated AI into their operations have experienced an average annual growth rate of 44%, compared to just 30% for non-adopters.
Prof. dr. Justin Jansen, Senior Fellow of the ECE, says AI has matured from “showcase to capacity” and that companies benefit from it if the technology is “wired into standardised workflows with clear ownership”.
Bolder’s chief executive, Sükrü Evrengün, explains that the firm has placed technology at the centre of its workflow, with a strong emphasis on AI in recent years. This includes applications in handling due diligence, data analysis and market research.
The company is continuously improving its AI architecture to streamline repetitive tasks related to administration, compliance and reporting. This AI-driven process allows Bolder professionals to concentrate more on quality assurance and fostering stronger relationships with stakeholders. The use of AI is expected to enhance Bolder’s operational efficiency, ultimately benefiting its clients.
Growth in the coming years
“Every year, the Top 250 reminds us of the extraordinary impact entrepreneurs have on the Dutch economy and society. In 2025, we see a new reality emerging: high growth is no longer the sole domain of young disruptors. Established firms are proving just as dynamic and transformative. This calls for a fresh understanding of what fuels sustainable growth,” Jansen writes in the Top 250 report.
Further, the ECE study highlights this message: “The list refreshes every year, but the underlying message is stable: if you want to stay ahead, your internal organisation has to move in sync with your market and steep growth path.”
In 2025, Bolder Group will celebrate its fourth year as a brand. However, its predecessors, AMS Financial Group and Circle Partners, have been providing services since the 1980s and 2000s, respectively.
Looking ahead, Evrengün says, “I truly believe the future is bright for us. We’re dedicated to making a real difference in our local community by creating jobs and giving our team members a chance to grow, both in their careers and as individuals. It’s exciting to see how, as our employees develop and thrive, they also help Bolder and our community succeed together.”
“On behalf of Bolder, I thank the ECE for recognising Bolder Group’s contributions to the Dutch community. Bolder’s rapid expansion, both in the Netherlands and worldwide, allows us to deliver an ever-broader range of specialised financial services,” says the Bolder CEO.
